Multiply

All-in-one lamp for Textile Museum

Dividing the warp of the Dornier loom in the TextielLab as many as eight times creates an opulent, layered weaving. Variations in the divisions result in different volumes that keep on multiplying until there is no thread left. At the end, a ready-made lamp comes straight from the loom, by the metre. No scissors, needle or stitching are required. The only added elements are rings to accommodate the lighting.
