Ingenious window to the past.
Designing for the heart of a Brabant village. A place residents are proud of and which enriches their beautiful village. A place that looks from the past to the possibilities for the future. A gem where wonder about the environment is palpable, then by van Gogh and now by all visitors. Diederendirrix architects designed the new part of the museum, making the museum about 2.5 times larger. The design is a contemporary long-roofed farmhouse in reference to a farm that stood here in the 19th century.

Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe designed the public spaces. The central reception area, coffee corner and museum store make up the new entrance area.
