Commemorative ceramics for Princessehof Leeuwarden

A plate marking the 30th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Beatrix. Gold transfers depict moments from the queen’s life. The floral motif under her silhouette appears to be composed of flowers, but this is an illusion. The rosette is actually made up of ‘royal’ items such as a golden coach, scissors for cutting ribbons and waving hands.
